CADDO / BOSSIER

RSVP (the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) is part of Senior Corps, a network of national service programs that provides older Americans the opportunity to apply their life experience to meeting the community needs. RSVP volunteers serve in a diverse range of nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and faith-based groups. In 1970 the Older Americans Act mobilized persons over 55 who provide significant volunteer service in their community.

Caddo/Bossier RSVP has been sponsored by Caddo Council On Aging, Inc. since 1975 and provides volunteer opportunities in Caddo, Bossier and DeSoto parishes. With more then 105 RSVP stations in Northwest Louisiana, Caddo/ Bossier RSVP's 750 plus volunteers can pick when and where they wish to serve their community.

Together we make America strong. By passing on your knowledge and experience you make a difference in our community, state and country. President Bush has called on all Americans to give at least two years of service to their communities and Country. All you have to do is, be willing to get involved just an hour or two a month. Come join Caddo / Bossier RSVP and see how our community becomes a better place, because of you.
