Join us
as we raise funds and awareness
for CCOA's
Meals on Wheels program.
We’re proud that community members including Sheriff Steve Prator, the
Shreveport Police Department, local high school marching bands, church
groups, civic organizations, service clubs, students, scouts, sororities
and fraternities, business partners and individuals have chosen to show
their support this year with both their participation and contributions.
CCOA needs the help of our
community to meet their fundraising goal of $115,000.
We also hope to expand our volunteer delivery network in order to
continue existing Meals on Wheels service levels and eliminate the
waiting list.
Currently, 50 Caddo senior citizens are on the Meals on Wheels waiting
list. That means 50 seniors in our community are uncertain that they
will eat a nutritious meal today. Fifty seniors may go without any
human contact today, without receiving even a simple smile.
Every cent raised during this campaign goes toward program costs for
this critical service provided by the Caddo Council on Aging. Please be
a part of this effort to ensure that no senior goes hungry.
If you would like to make a donation, find a way to have your group
participate or have any other questions, please contact us today!
