Every year in March, CCOA and our Meals On Wheels program bring together neighbors, community & business leaders, political & church leaders along with our print and broadcast media in an event designed to RAISE AWARENESS AND INSPIRE RESULTS!

This move is an exciting one because we can now offer TONS OF FREE PARKING that is in easy walking distance from the event's main stage.
In addition, our supporters who are mobility challenged no longer need worry about the procession from the courthouse to the Entertainment District!

Morris Lee Claiborne (born February 7, 1990) is an American football cornerback for the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys. He played for LSU and was recognized as an All-American. He was selected in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft, and was considered by many to be the best defensive prospect available in the draft.
Claiborne was born in Shreveport LA and attended Fair Park HS. He played quarterback, wide receiver and defensive back. As a senior he had over 2,000 all-purpose yards and 30 touchdowns as a quarterback.
Claiborne played for Coach Les Miles from ‘09 to ‘11. In 2010,following his Jr season, Claiborne won the Jim Thorpe Award, earned first-team All-SEC honors, and was recognized as a unanimous first-team All-American. Toward the end of his Jr season, Claiborne had established himself as the #1 cornerback prospect for the 2012 NFL Draft, unanimously projected as a top-6 selection. Claiborne officially signed his contract with the Cowboys on July 23, 2012, for $16.4 million over four years.
